Anaesthetics & Blood Tests

Whether your pet requires surgery, dental treatment or further investigation, our experienced team provides safe anaesthesia and in-house blood testing to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. Every patient receives an individual care plan, with their comfort and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.

Anaesthetics

Our vets carefully assess your pet before every procedure to ensure the safest anaesthetic approach. Throughout treatment, your pet is closely monitored using modern equipment, with dedicated care provided before, during and after their procedure.

What to expect during an anaesthetic

Blood Tests

Blood tests are an important diagnostic tool that help us assess your pet’s overall health, investigate illness and monitor ongoing conditions. With our in-house laboratory, many routine tests can be processed quickly, helping us make informed decisions without unnecessary delays.

Blood tests may be recommended for:

Before Surgery

To check your pet's health and ensure they are fit for anaesthesia.

Investigating Illness

Helping diagnose the cause of symptoms such as lethargy, vomiting, weight loss or changes in appetite.

Health Monitoring

Monitoring long-term conditions including kidney disease, liver disease and diabetes.

Senior Pet Health Checks

Routine screening can help detect age-related health changes before symptoms develop.
